Slightly Less Basic Info

I'm a combination of nerd, geek, artist, hippy and housewife, all wrapped up into one little stubby package. I play and design games, I code and build websites, I draw, paint, photograph, photoshop, write, cook, shop and sew, all very cheerfully. I have a love-hate relationship with Nintendo for always putting all their best into the same series over and over, but producing fairly consistently awesome results. I guess that's why they'll keep putting out the same things over and over.

I'm currently chasing the All-Gamerican Dream at AISF. Hopefully I'll get a job helping to make games afterwards. Or before I graduate- I wouldn't mind that either.

I'm vegetarian and talk cheerfully with people about the delights of chicken, both alive and dead. I grew up on a farm and lived in the barn, armed with only an SNES, multiple versions of the original Star Wars Trilogy, and a lot of rented movies and TV shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which I maintain is very different from TMNT), Sonic (the good one), Happy Gilmore and My Little Pony. I wanted to be either a vet or a paleontologist when I grew up, and spent many an hour finding sheep bones and deer horns in the bushes behind our farm and burying my Star Wars action figures in order to dig them up and live the paleontologist fantasy. If I had kept them all in the boxes instead I could probably pay for a decent amount of college, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun a tale.
